I've been checking out this site regularly since quite some time. And although it didn't update as often as i wanted, I think it's admiring how you kept on . I don't think I would have been able to dedicate my time to this for so many months.

ReplyDeletePlease don't take that attitude. A majority of the team is not very motivated to work on this, and we just lost one of our major members that was. Both of these upset me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one on the team upset by it, so we're going to try and get more active again.

DeleteSurely you've made progress since the last update, though. For instance, I've heard the models (pony and boot, specifically) shown on the blog are out of date.

As a matter of fact, yes, we have made progress on those models. We'll release more info when we feel we're ready to. Until then, please bear with us. We may seem dying, but we're still alive.

Delete"Black Mesa," a recreation of the original Half-Life game with enhanced graphics, sounds...basically it's a step up from Half-Life 2 but with the first game's story. It was first announced many years ago and seemed to pretty much disappear with a lack of updates, but now it's being released. Of course, I don't want ours to take that long. I was just saying that even though there's not much public progress, it's not dead.

ReplyDeleteSorry, but you are not licensed to pronounce someone dead. So long as a spark remains somewhere behind the scene, this mod will be still alive. It just needs to be brought back.
